Japanese Limited edition etching with aquatint of a traditional Japanese farmhouse covered in snow titled “Tamba” by Brian Williams (b. 1950). The print is pencil-signed, titled, numbered 170/180, and dated ‘93 along the bottom margin. Paper size: 10 1/4"V x 14"H (image about 5”V x 8 ¼”H). Excellent condition. There are two pieces of archival tape at the top edge verso. Born in Peru, Brian Williams has been living and working in Japan since 1972...

Japanese limited edition copperplate etching titled “Manpukuji Temple” by Tanaka Ryohei (b. 1933). Pencil-signed, dated 2002, and numbered 11/150 in the lower margin. Paper size about 12" x 10 1/4" (image: 8" x 6 1/2"). Excellent condition.

A Japanese mezzotint print by artist Katsunori Hamanishi (b. 1949-present). He graduated with an art degree from Tokai University in 1973 and has since been living in Kyoto to work on his printmaking.

This mezzotint is titled "Play-I", numbered 20/70 of its series, and hand signed by the artist in pencil.

Japanese limited-edition copperplate etching and aquatint by Tanaka Ryohei (b. 1933) titled “Tree of Mandarin” dated ‘08. Pencil-signed, dated ’08, and numbered 20/100 in the lower margin. Paper size: 10 1/2” x 11 3/4” (image: 6 1/2” x 8”). Never framed. Excellent original condition.

An etching and aquatint print by Hiroto Norikane (b.1949) of a cat. Very detailed etching in round format with multiple colors printed on paper and signed in pencil. Numbered 28 of 300 edition. Titled in Japanese "Glosssy - C". Known to have been printed in 2014.

Japanese limited-edition mezzotint depicting a traditional village in snow by Koichi Sakamoto (b. 1932) titled “Enduring Village No. 1.” The print is pencil-signed, titled in English and kanji, and numbered 68/100 in the lower margin. Dates circa 1982...

Two pieces of urumi-zome cloth which are made of hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dye. Urumi-zome is katazome (stencil-resist-dye) imitating shibori-zome (tie-dye) and it requires more process than common katazome to make blurring like shibori. Both have rips but other part of the cloth is not weak. The right one has a patch in the back. The second half of the 19th century. Right one:75cm x 126cm, Left one:65cm x 126cm

An early 20th century souvenir photo album entitled "The Ceremonies of a Japanese Marriage". with green woven silk boards and nineteen hand coloured photographs with explanatory text.

Condition: very good - there is substantial wear to the silk covered boards ; but internally excellent with no damages or losses; no foxing,...
