SOLD Antique Japanese cha tansu (tea storage chest) with a lovely red/brown lacquered burl front with a gorgeous shine, and a warm honey-tone lacquered top and interior. It has many sliding door panels with plenty of storage space and shelving within, and five exterior drawers with interesting V-shaped handles.

$1,100.00 A mid century Japanese single section Kimono chest called Isho Tansu made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand made bronze hardware. With 2 sliding doors that cover a large storage area, 3 small side by side drawers and 2 large drawers below. Side handles allow for moving this tansu from place to place. Constructed using hardened wooden nails and Japanese joinery.

SOLD Japanese three-section kimono tansu made from kiri wood, its mid and bottom section has five long drawers with round metal lockplates that slide open to reveal a keyhole, and two warabite handles adorned with flora. The topmost section of the tansu has two smaller drawers with a single handle each, topped with two sliding panel doors, opening to a shelved interior and two more small drawers with adorable twin fish handle pulls.
