Japanese Yunomi pair of beakers, one a little smaller than the other, husband and wife cups. Decoration of enameled / iroe carnation flowers in Kakiemon style and colours on a matted ground. Arita Nabeshima, Tsuji production signed Mayama Akira. Between the leaves to the left of each beaker there is further writing in Japanese. Height "3 ¼ / 8 and "3 ½ / 8.5 cm respectively. Pair of fine satzuma earthenware vases. The cream colored clay is covered with finely crackled glaze. A golden decoration representing pagodas in a mountainous landscape is placed on a matte black background. Some details are sprinkled to imitate morning mists. These are original vases inspired by Komai style vases in gold damask steel. Probably made in Kyoto during the Meiji or Taisho period. Good condition. Height: 125mm.

Two matching small Imari dishes with high quality applied decoration, including the "three gentlemen" at the center of each dish (pine, bamboo, and plum blossom). The dishes have a scalloped edge, and have a stylized Ching Dynasty, Yung Cheng, reign mark on the recessed base. A pair of exquisite fluted porcelain bottles decorated in rich color by Tokuda Yasokichi II enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Flowers in various colors, red, yellow, purple blue and green rise up between patterned undulating bands of green and blue. Each is signed on the base in a yellow seal Kutani Yasokichi. They are 15 cm tall and in perfect condition.

A striking glass bowl which defies explanation by important female glass artist Iwata Itoko enclosed in the original singed wooden box. Made like the feathers of a peacock, each blue flourish contains a round bead of air marking the eye of the feather. Incredible! It is 15 cm (6 inches) diameter and in excellent condition.
