Tibetan Silver hand made Bangle Bracelet, 1" high, 2 1/2" 2" wide inside, 1" wide opening, with 6 Tibetan Characters and the weight is rather heavy. The condition is very good.

This antique necklace consists of large bells alternating with (symbolic) lotus pods. The bells are roughly 1.5 inches long. Though it has a hook closure, it is long enough to slip over the head of the wearer...Really fun to wear but not to the opera. It is made of low grade silver which was commonly used by various tribal groups throughout Central Asian, and the Far East. The filigree work on the bells was most common to Northern India, Himalayas, Nepal.

This woven Tibetan container would have been used to hold a pair of wooden tea bowls...there is an interior separator (removable) which allows for the separation of tea bowls. Hand made using plant materials (hemp) and rattan with leather closures Bowls would have been packed into container such as this when traveling... and from the condition of this one...it has traveled many times. The container is 6 inches diameter at the top and 4 inches high...well aged fair condition...

A North Indian steel Katar, known as a push or punch dagger. 19th century.This form of weapon is found only in India and was considered to be a high status weapon.

Constructed from steel in one piece it is a very strong weapon. The deeply fullered blade widens in depth towards the tip to strengthen it when used against chain mail or armour.

Just over 40cm length, the blade is 24cm (and sharp!) Good condition. It has an old armourer’s brazed repair to one arm...

Unusual Jackwood paan (betel) tray with well carved Kandy style floral medallion in the center, this motif also emulates carvings on pillars in some ancient temple. The WHO advised the Sri Lankan government against the chewing of betel and it is now illegal- that is not to say that this really stops people from still doing it though. This old vintage brass pendant has a seated Buddha detailed on the front with good stone work. The back of the pendant depicts a double has dorjie. Measured on the diagonals...2.5 inches x 2.75 inches.

Staff carved out of one piece of a hard species of wood. On the top crouches a female figure with long hair, the arms wrapped around her body. The tip is a lighter middle brown while the rest is patinated a dark brown. Probably used in Shamanistic rites in tribal regions. Himalayans.
Length 16.5 inches (42.5 cm).
Some cracks and chips, nice patina.

Sub-Continent tribal white metal Necklace, 13" long across and 2 1/2" high for metal part linked with cloth rope which can be changed. Each link is carved with dangling leaf shape charms, the charms are hollow inside, and connected together with rope to stay and hang together neatly. The condition is original condition and not altered.

Very small and finely cast statue, with great details, of Adubuddha Vajrasattva, his eyes closed in meditation, wearing diadem, jewelry and dhoti, sitting cross-legged on a lotus throne, his right hand holding the vajra and his left the ghanta. Bronze, with fine dark green patina. Tibet, 19th century. Height: 4.6 cm. Very good condition.

This is woodblock is carved on both sides so that it was used to print 2 different pages of a Tibetan Sutra book. ...Age and use are obvious and there are a few nicks and bruises but no serious loss... A true ethnographic relic measures 14 inches x 3 inches x 7/8th inch...

Pendant of rectangular shape ending in a triangle on its top, with a loop for possible attachment to a necklace. The pendant is decorated with an embossed design of tribal style representing Hindu god Virabhadra standing with his four arms and weapons/attributes, and surrounded by a dotted aureola.
