A rectangular and exceptionally designed top horse saddle rug or seating mat made of wool in knotted pile. Centrally two flying birds, between them quite invisible Chinese characters, bordered by swastika pattern. Lined and edged with different blue fabrics. Condition: faded, few small areas with missing pile (moth damage). Dimension total: 77.5 cm x 62.5 cm.

A bronze Lion with its original dark patination made in China, possibly as a censer, during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644, most likely during the 16th or early 17th Century. Condition: there are some very old losses to the applied decoration - a part of the "beard" is missing,the right ear has been re-attached and the base has an old wood block infill; there has been no restoration. 14.5cm (5.7 inches)high; 14cm (5 inches) across.

Chinese Qing dynasty Tongzhi mark and period 5-petalled foliate form porcelain footed bowl decorated on the exterior with alternating black and red calligraphic inscriptions set against a white porcelain ground. The bowl has a turquoise interior and gilt at the rim. A short foliate form base is decorated with a band of red scrolls. The turquoise glazed deep recessed base holds an iron-red zhuanshu 6-character Tongzhi mark on a square white ground. The foot is unglazed...
