Chinese pair of moon viewing chairs, made of huang-huali hardwood with dramatic grain. Carved in faux bamboo. Each chair handcrafted for a comfortable reclining position and matched with a slide out foot rest. The joints show sign of shrinkage and patina of its age and condition.

Chinese Bridal red lacquered on woven bamboo hanging wall container/pocket with bamboo frame, 7" high, 7" wide, 3 1/4" deep, in good condition, no major damages, just shows little wear and tear from the age. This is very charming wall decoration for any home.

Chinese red lacquered on wood Bridal Oil Lamp stand with three(3) dimensional carving of pair of deer surrounded by pine trees on pedestal, Ca early 1900's, 13 3/4" high, 7 3/4" wide in front-widest measurement, 5 3/4" deep. Round old metal ring is attached for holding dish for oil. Red lacquer is worn on some area with usage but overall it is in good condition.

Chinese Bridal large Red Lacquer on wood Food Container or storage bowl with removable tops, 7" high, 20 5/8" diameter on top, made in 19th century. The low relief carving in brown lacquer work scrolling vines on red lacquer base is in good condition with some gold highlighted between the decoration. The top is in two(2) pieces, lift to open, the holes are for air circulation. Shows some joining separations, and wrapped around with original metal wire...

An attractive black Chinese QING Dynasty Leather Chest nicely painted with red and gold pigments. The front is centered with a hasp and the chest has handles on both sides. Good condition overall, but shows some signs of use over time and very minor/inconsequential loss of leather. No repairs. Size: L. 17" x H. 7" x D. 10" (43 cm. x 18 cm. x 26 cm.)

Chinese antique Deco Era swivel chair comprised of hongmu and hauli wood. Inlaid with Dali marble. Carved curling arms with back rest openwork carving of blossoming magnolia branch with birds. The largest blossom is inlaid with a piece of white dali marble.

Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer carved large Pancake shape flat bead, 1 1/2" round, 1/2" thick, carved with floral design, no damages or restorations.

Chinese large carved Walnut Bead, 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" diameter, with carved figures and polished natural Walnut. The condition is good and no damages.

An unusual Chinese GU crackled glaze globular vase. Tubular neck, base is unglazed and has 3 small feet. Condition good and there is no leaking. 18th/19th Century. Size: H. 5.5" x 3.5" diameter (13.5 cm. x 9 cm.)

Five(5) Chinese Ivory Clasps for necklace, 1" long, 3/8" diameter, screw 2 pieces together, all in good condition. Imported to U. S. prior to 1980.

These 3 small oil lamps were brought back to the US by a Baptist missionary who lived and traveled extensively throughout China. Oil lamps like these were used for light source extensively throughout rural China by poor peasants. Simply made, presumed cut from scraps of tin and soldered into shape.. the lids come off for filling with oil and some original home made wicks remain in place. The tallest is 5 inches high...

Over 110 years old Chinese Buddha head mounted on a high class wood base.

It is made of fine natural stone and has a nice patina. This mounted statue is part of the Van Norten Collection since 60 years and has been exhibited in our private house since then. Wonderful, age related condition.

An antique Chinese jade bowl decorated with motifs of flora, dragons, and on the exterior is depicting a battle scene with mounted horses and foot soldiers. The bottom of the bowl contains a inset with the mark Qianlong nian xing. Age: 18th-19th century Size: diameter: 6.5" height: 2.2"

A mounted painting of a bird perched on a branch with a signature and seal signed Zhao Shaoang (1905-1998). Zhao Shaoang was known for his contemporary and bold styles specializing in bird and flower images. The strokes used for the plants reminisce strokes seen in calligraphy. Age: 20th century. A refined Chinese framed landscape painting showing a view during the evening. The tradition began during the Song Dynasty with literati landscapes. In the succeeding centuries, different artists produced these landscapes echoing poems by Li Bai or Guqin tunes. The landscape painting was done by an artist named, Tzuyue. Beautiful Chinese small silk purse, salmon colored silk sewn into intricate raised pattern with metallic thread, silk lining on inside, sewn onto each side is a beautiful carved white jade butterfly 2 3/4" wide. The purse cord is braided metallic thread with three carved linked white jade rings on end. Republic Period (although jade is probably older). Purse is 5 1/2" wide.
