DESCRIPTION: An attractive oval brass box, the hinged lid decorated with a carved carnelian stone at the center with raised brass leaves on either side. Signed at the interior lid, such a box might have been used for snuff, jewelry, cosmetics or medicines. This attractive little box is in excellent condition and dates from the first quarter of the 20th C. DIMENSIONS: 2 ¼” long (5.7 cm) x 1 1/8” wide (2.9 cm) x 1” high (2.5 cm).

Large Chinese Qing dynasty celadon charger decorated in the interior with a carved scrolling peony motif. Late 19th century to circa 1900. 15 1/2” diameter x 2 5/8” high. She stands in bare feet holding a bronze colored vase in her right hand and is dressed in a flowing robe with a veil. A beaded necklace adorns her neck. Her elongated ears frame a serene facial expression with downward gazing eyes. The figure is heavily potted and weighs 11 lbs. Very good overall condition...

It has skip glazes, small chips at the rim and foot, hairline cracks at the foot, dark spots, firing cracks, and surface wear and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Richly glazed in deep blue this Chinese jar has a dark brown glazed interior to accommodate liquid storage. The lid has an embossed Chinese symbol for longevity which suggests to me the jar's intent was to store something special for your health and well being. Late 19th C Chinese famille rose porcelain pillow with a lovely hand painted design of woman in a garden setting with the opposing side featuring a bird perched in a beautiful flowering tree. The enameling on the bird and tree is particularly rich. On one end of the pillow there are 8 spur marks surrounding the pierced decoration. In good antique condition there is some general wear and rubbing, some chips at corners and kiln pops along the edges. Measures 5" x 5" x 2.5"
