A stunning HONGZHI (HUNG-CHIH 1488-1505) DEEP Rich Yellow glazed dish with rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, the interior incised with an Imperial 5- clawed Dragon amidst Ruyi Clouds, encircled by a band of motifs. The exterior is decorated with auspicious symbols, applied overall with this deep/rich, yellow, shiny glaze. The base has the 6 character HONGZHI Mark. Size: 8 3/4" diameter x height 1 3/4"

A Chinese Shiwan stoneware fanghu vase with a jun glaze, late Ming/early Qing dynasty. The hollow tube handles associate this type of vase with the arrow game pastime but this example, given the small diameters involved would be unsuitable. The glaze is a transmutation glaze and its colour is decided by the kiln conditions at the peak temperature.

Shiwan (Shekwan) ceramics are from southern China, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

Such amulets have a long history in China and would have been worn as a mystical protector against all unseen evil and bad luck. A rare and fine QING DYNASTY Chinese Famille Rose BENJARONG Porcelain Jarlet/Washer and wooden stand, specially made for the Thai Royalty and Nobility, 18/19th Century. Excellent condition, no hairlines, chips, cracks nor restoration whatsoever. Size: 7.5 cm diameter x 5 cm height without the stand. Very difficult to find this size Bencharong!

Chinese etched and carved design of Double Gourd and leaves in the background Brass Lock and heavy Key, Ca. early 1900, 2 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" high, 3/4" deep(outside measurement), 1 3/8" wide(inside opening), hole is less 1/8" diameter round, in working condition, polished with many years of usage naturally original condition, some areas are stained and dark. This lock and key was found in Yunnan Providence in China.

Chinese Brass Lock and Key with signature, early 1900, 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep(outside measurement), 1 1/8" wide(inside measurement), stick is 3/16" less than 1/8" diameter round, sort of 3 dimentional shape, in good working condition. There are some interesting embossed and inscribed Chinese design under the old stained Brass in original condition. Thick and large size of the key is very decorative.
