Chinese hard stone brush washer carved into a gourd bottle shape, with two separate pockets for brush washing, the top carved with smaller gourds and spiraling vines, the bottom carved smooth. The stone is light green with orange areas.

Pair of tall Chinese famille verte enamel tapered square form porcelain vases molded with relief decoration of the eighteen immortals among clouds set against a pierced ground. A rust-red 5-clawed dragon wraps around the neck of each. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. An apocryphal impressed zhuanshu 6-character Qing dynasty Kangxi square form reign mark is on the base. Tiny statue of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara in his Padmapani manifestation, wearing formal garment and diadem, standing on a lotus. Gilt bronze. China, Tang Dynasty. Height: 4.6 cm. The statue is mounted on a plexiglass stand. Gilding partly missing, otherwise very good condition.

A rare miniature figure of Avalokitesvara (Buddha) (God of Compassion) on a plinth. The head is surrounded by a halo. The figure was originally gilded and traces of the gold still remain. The features have been worn from age. Has a nice patina. Period: Han. 206BC - 220AD Size: Height = 7.5 cm

A beautiful replica of the famous Bronze Running Horse or the Galloping Horse. The original horse was made durning the Han Dynasty. A Chinese snuff bottle carved from amethyst into a carp fish leaping over waves. The stopper is carved from light green hardstone, possibly fluorite. Provenance: Collection of Howard Kaplan.

A Chinese porcelain dish decorated with under glazed cobalt, famille verte enamel, and gilt. Kangxi period. Condition: there is a repaired 1/2" long shallow chip on the rim, please see photos #4 and #5 for the inside and outside views of the repair; there are a few other very tiny glaze flakes on the rim and have been repaired, a newer layer of gilt was applied to the rim. Diameter: 9".

Chinese Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) earthenware statue of a man, commonly referred to as a “stick man.” These figures were modeled after wooden examples. The arms, which likely were wood, and the clothing have disappeared over time. A custom-made acrylic stand is included. Stands about 23” high (about 24” including the stand)...

A light Celadon jade pendant depicting the Guanyin (Avalokiteśvara) standing on the sea waves. Mid-20th century. Condition: light brown inclusions; very tiny flakes on the edge; and two short (1/4" to 3/8") cracks on the top edge. Please see photos for details. Length: 4".

Description: A Tang white-glazed box was preserved with an original cover.
On top of the cover, the motif of a butterfly was decorated.
This box was rarely found when the cover's decoration was done with hand-shaped motif.
Most of the boxes in documentation were in-print motifs when there's a decoration...

Description : A Qing Inkstone was in big size and was in hefty weight.
It was hand-carved and shaped in bridge-type.
Well preserved in perfect condition, this Inkstone owned the original mood of scholarship.
