19th Century Chinese Gilt Bronze Dragon Belt Buckle with Jadeite & Tourmaline

The overall measurement is 4.2 inches (10.7 cm) long by 0.9 inch (2.4 cm) wide. The jadeite range from is 20.8 mm to 34.9 mm long by 11.3 mm to 15.6 mm wide. The tourmaline is 9.4 mm long by 6.76 mm wide. It is 41.5 gram.

It has rubbing of gilt and surface wears and scratches. The jadeite and tourmaline have inclusions and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

The stone is of medium celadon hue with a few darker spots as seen in the images, the quality of the carving is fine and detailed, especially in the head area. Huanghuali altar table decorated with carved decorations. The altar table has a square maize design repeated around the base of the table. The legs are decorated with carved panels of dragons climbing through clouds. The Huanghuali table top is very beautiful with strong grain patterns. Late Republic period.
