$450.00 Goldenrod/yellow glazed vase with incised designs of butterfliesin a "yuhuchunping" or pear-shape. Signature on bottom. 20th century
Size: 6.5" tall, 3.5" wide
Unusually large Sung Dynasty powder box / container with muted molded design on lid. Nice uniform glaze. Note, there is an apparent hairline on the outer portion of lid which appears only to some extent on the inside of lid. Also, there are a few small chips to the rim of the base section of the powder box. Dimensions: 5 inch diameter, 2 inches in height.

Song Dynasty green crackled Celadon bowl with a nice shape. There are certain imperfections which mostly appear to be occurrences at time of firing. On the inside of bowl, there is a pock mark / rupture that appears to have occurred at some point when perhaps a stone in the clay was compromised and broken out through the glaze. Dimensions: height 2.75 inches, diameter 5.50 inches.

$600.00 A very fine dark brown Yixing teapot with hand carved and applied branch and flower motif. It is signed both under the lid and on the base bottom. In perfect condition, No cracks, No hairlines No restorations, it measures 6" high, 5" pot diameter, and 8" across.
Song Dynasty brown glaze jarlet with four ears. There is no damage other than the glaze degradation due to age. Cavities near base occured during time of its making. Dimensions: 3.5 inches high and 3.5 inches diameter at widest.

$550.00 A rare Eastern Han (206 BC- 219 AD) jar with incised decoration about the collar area. All the features one wants to see are found on this rare artifact, such as root impressions, worm tracks, and traces of calcified (petrified) roots. This jar is not the typical molded type made for burial, but was actually used in real life as utilitarian ware for everyday use. The jar is in excellent condition and measures 6.5" high x 7" diameter.

The calligraphy reads as an auspicious poem where the poet is using the flow of water in relation to the spread and development of the family with generation after generation of children. $2,500.00 A simple one line Chinese calligraphy attributing to Chi Xizhao (1793-1866). The calligraphy reads: The pure jade harmonizing with the gold with the pure wind in the forest of treasure. The work is dated to year of the water boar (approximately 1863), mid spring. Chi Xizhao was a noted Qing Period poet. Chi Xizhao was a scholar of the xueshi rank during the Jiaqing period. This scroll originally was one of a pair.
