Featuring a six-sided lobbed body supported by a short straight foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a cupped mouth with two lug handles and a curved spout, opposite a flat handle. It is covered overall in a green-white ‘Qingbai-type’ glaze, except for the base.

Jar carved with vertical petal-like ribs and is topped with a round cover that has undulating edges and a ribbed petal-like dome. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze, except for the base.

Nice old Tibetan or Baotou saddle carpet, with floral medallions and scroll pattern. There are some repairs and restorations which I have highlighted in enlargement two. Early 20th century, the colors are still vibrant with some abrash but none of the garish aniline dyes used later in the 50s and 60s. L: 120cm/47.2in ad W: 60cm/23.6in.

$400.00 Vibrant yellow enameled porcelain 'Birthday' plate inscribed "wan shou wu chiang" in circular reserves. Underside bears six-character iron red Guangxu period (1875-1908) with "CHINA" export mark. In excellent condition, it measures a little over 8" (20.32 cm) diameter.
A Chinese archaic pale green jade sword chape carved on one side with four linear designs, the reverse with a coiled dragon, 5cms wide, Western Han dynasty (202BC - 9AD).
A similar chape was sold at Bonhams London, 18/5/23, lot 28, Keverne collection.
Another sold at Christie's New York, 17/3/16, lot 920.
Width approximately 18 cm (across the handles). In good condition.

$120.00 Qing Dynasty, rare (no one I know has seen one before), silver amulet with a rat (definitely not a mouse). 2020 was the Chinese Lunar Calendar for the Metal Rat so this being a silver piece represents a full 60 year lunar cyclical completion this year. In Chinese society the Rat is considered clever, cultured, shrewd and intelligent although a bit manipulative (Mark Zuckerberg is a Rat). The reverse side wishes the owner “May you live 100 years”...
