A Chinese porcelain bowl used for growing bulb flowers. The bowl dates to the Republic period, and measures 7 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2". The landscape decoration has been done in a ruby pink under glaze, and there is calligraphy done in black on each end. The white porcelain shows orange peel texture, and when new there was gold on the rim. Condition: The condition is excellent, but most of the gold on the rim is gone, and there are small kiln flaws. A blue and white Nanking butter tub trimmed with the classic Nanking border, but with an unusual rooster on the rock design and a peach final. The tub measures about 3 1/2" high x 5 1/2 wide x 4 1/4" deep and dates to the late 18th, early 19th Century. Condition: The condition is excellent. Antique Chinese porcelain censer in the form of a lotus pod with wonderfully sculpted, red-accented petals. The lid is gilt and the handles are two lotus buds with curled leaves. Delicately carved and glazed white with brown, orange and gold over painting. Very subtle purple and green high lights on the tips of the lotus petals. Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in the likeness of a playful lion, also known as 'Shi' or 'Foo Dog', with a yellow body, light green tail and mane, brown, bushy eyebrows, and chewing on a xiù qiú ball with flower designs and a green ribbon tied around it. The front of the xiù qiú is the opening to the snuff bottle and has a Jade stopper. 19th century Size: 3" long, 1" wide
