Mingqi, pottery figures with green and brown glaze and remains of black painting. The man holding a dish and the lady holding an unidentified object. Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The dating of this pair is consistent with the reults of the TL-test no. 12231113 by Laboratory Ralf Kotalla. Condition: expected age wear, no damage or repair.

$2,195 DESCRIPTION: A pair of substantial, deeply carved Chinese doors originating from Zhejiang province and dating from the early 1800’s, Qing dynasty. These handsome, heavy solid elm doors still have all of their original pegs attached, which would have been set into round sockets at the top and bottom, allowing the doors to be opened and closed.
The top panels are carved with flowers and a repeating swastika pattern, the Chinese character meaning good fortune or longevity...

The container's body has a lovely blue background with abstracted lotus design, old gilt on edges. The entire tree is crafted as if an actual plant is planted in the pots.The cloisonne appears to be late 19th century. The semiprecious stones are of a later vintage. Age: Republic Period

Pair of lovely light turquoise pastel blue Qingbai glazed jars with lotus leaf shaped lids circa 1200 CE, which would put them on the cusp of Southern Song/Yuan Dynasties. The lids have been heavily restored- so please see enlargements but the jars are in good condition with no damage. H: 16.5cm/6.5in and D: 12cm/4.8in.
