A lovely antique hand-knotted wool Chinese Mongolian rug, with scene of a white cat seated on a structure of rocks, its head pointed towards the sky in observation of a nearby butterfly, with branches of blue and red flowers against a red ground. Good color and thick pile. Previous owner's publication. done in 1990s, Antique Chinese Carpets, Te-Chun Wang Collection.

This is a finely made Red-underglazed Porcelain Snuff Bottle, of tubular form with straight neck and rolled rim, wide mouth and perfectly circular underglazed foot rim, characteristic of 19th century period bottles. It depicts a dragon that is chasing a tama, amid flickering flames. It has a four-character Iron red Qianlong mark on on its base. It comes with a coral stopper...

Made of camphor wood, gold and red lacquer. The countenance of the Buddha has a full broad complexion and down cast eyes in complete contemplation, flowing robes, hand forming the crown mudra. The back has a consecration covering and three guardian entities; Goat, man, and pig.

The crown chakra (sahaswrara in Sanskrit) is the seventh of the main chakras and it is located outside of the physical body just above the head...

A very rare yab-yum bronze from the end of the 19th. century ( Qing Dynasty 1644 - 1912 ), acquired for the van Norten collection in the early 30's of the last century in Sichuan showing the male deity in sexual union with his female consort. Yab-yum means Tibetan literally 'father - mother'.
