Chinese King Fisher Feather inlaid Lamp Finial, floral design, 1 7/8" high, 1" diameter for King Fisher Feather finial, the condition is good.

Another highlight of our family collection: Rather large Chinese Kinuta Seiji Celadon Vase for Japanese Tea Ceremony. Classical mallet (kinuta) shaped celadon vase in the style of the longquan kilns of the 13th century. The celadon glaze is applied very thickly and the vase may have been glazed and fired more than one time. Some fine aesthetic hairlines complete its beautiful expression.

The execution of the foot rim and the texture of the clay matches the Chinese original...

Very rare lacquered wooden box, inlay of the "hundred precious items" type. The decoration represents sages and animals in a landscape, antiquity and friezes of stylized dragons. The inlays are mainly in mother-of-pearl, but also in stone, steatite and above all a superb lapis lazuli of a rare blue stained with green, details are in sculpted cinnabar lacquer and also inlaid, others are in tinted bone and horn, and finally details are painted with gold powder. Chinese work from the Ming period...

Black and red lacquer box inlaid with mother-of-pearl, sides in bamboo basketry. Interesting and rare Chinese work of the Ming period. The work of the basketry is exceptionally beautiful quality, the bamboo fibers are very fine and perfectly woven. The mother of pearl inlays are of excellent quality and extreme finesse. The interior is lacquered in red as well as a part of the sides. Many missing mother of pearl as you can see on the pictures...

Lacquered wooden box. Decor of a painted landscape, colors and details powdered with gold. Chinese work from the end of the Ming dynasty, 17th century. The lacquer has withstood the centuries well, it bears the beautiful wrinkles of the retraction of the wood, typical of this period. Worn decor, broken wooden base, glued.
