A large antique Chinese altar table made from Jumu wood. The front of the altar table contains intricate geometrical patterns, images of birds, flowers, and scrolling vine carvings. Interestingly, the top of the table contains repairs where the restorer created patterns of fish and pineapples to fill in holes on the surface of the table. Age: 19th century. Five chinese blue and white tea cups made for the Japanese market. Grey/white glaze and underglaze cobalt blue of a deep indigo color depicts birds and flowers in a whimsical design. The cups were used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Fretting on the edges. 17th century. Cups measure 5" at lip.

Antique chinese red-orange lacquer jewelry box. The box is decorated with scenes of life along the water. A boat glides by while two people cross over an arched bridge. Early 20th century. It measures 11" wide, 8" deep, 4" tall.

A charming antique Chinese basket with basket weave bottom. The inside of the basket is lacquered in red over black, while the rim and exterior are black lacquered with gilt lacquer banding and motifs of butterflies, fruits, and flowers. The basket has a lovely patina and wear consistent with age.

This lacquered leather pillow would have been owned by a wealthy family during the Qing dynasty. Each end has a hand painted floral design with Chinese "well wishing" saying.

This antique Chinese lotus shaped serving tray is elaborately inlayed with Mother of Pearl. The MOP design covers the surface of the tray and also goes about the exterior face of the narrow rim. Wood is most likely ebony and tray dates from mid 18th century.
