$1,400.00 This very well carved two-tone hard stone snuff bottle is a 1980's product. It depicts an old sage chatting with a young man under a pine tree. It is 3" high, 2" wide and 1 3/8" thick with a red carnelian and silver rim cap. It is in great condition.

Sale in Progress Oversized Chinese copperplate etching of two large white birds with prominent beaks (possibly two albatrosses) by Wu Wulong (b. 1956) titled "Under the Moon." The print is pencil-signed and titled in Chinese, dated 1986, and numbered 18/20 in the large bottom margin. Paper: 24" x 19 1/2" (image: 17 1/4" x 17 1/8"). Very good overall condition. There are a few pin holes in the upper margin. Some faint spotting and soiling is visible on the white birds, in the margins, and on the back...

Conservatoire Sakura
$250.00 Enamelled copper snuff bottle. Decor of flying cranes in a reserve on a yellow background. The stopper is in cast bronze and chiselled with care. The prestigious mark of the emperor kien long is affixed under the base but, unfortunately, it is apocryphal. The rod and the teaspoon are made of metal. I think it's a Chinese production of the 20th century. Probably from the end. Height about 7cm. A chip on the foot (see photo) which does not harm the aesthetics of the object.

Sold in our Liverpool shop - February 2019 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2019年2月 A finely carved and moulded Zisha clay stoneware teapot with a Tang dynasty style marbed band and with applied leaf and Prunus blossom decoration. This item was made in the vicinity of the city of Yixing, Jiangsu province, in the Yangze River Delta region of eastern China.
The base carries the impressed sealmark of its maker Kuai Xin Long born 25th May 1964.
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.
18cm (7 inches) long; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) high.
