Made from a hard creamy-white pottery and coated in green and black glazes that have, in places, acquired a silvery iridescence, a result of very long exposure to moisture. SOLD A Chinese Blue and White Miniature Guan Jar. Circa, 1368-1644, Ming Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Its tapering body is horizontally joined in two sections with a bordering underglaze decoration of acanthus leaves running along its shoulders and panels above its foot. Its base is fully unglazed.
Measurements: height (2.5"inches).
Condition: in perfect condition.
