Waisted cylindrical form scholar's huanghuali wood brush pot with a slightly raised flat base and three low rounded feet. The feet, base and rim are finished with a finely executed narrow raised band. The honey-browm wood has a varied grain pattern displaying several distinctive guilian “ghost face” whorl patterns. 18th century or earlier. Measures 6”H x 5 5/8” diameter. Gilded Lacquer Bronze Seated Buddha with Lotus Seat, 16th Century

It is 11.7 inches (29.8 cm) tall without stand and 14.5 inches (37 cm) with stand by 7.4 inches (19 cm) wide.

It is in good condition with no repairs, chips, or cracks, except peeling of lacquer and chips at the wood stand (as seen in the photos).
