Rare Chinese Cast Iron Feng Shui Disc - Ming Dynasty or earlier

This very rare item dates to the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) or possibly as early as the Song or Yuan dynasty. It is a cast iron feng shui, or geomancy, disc. On the upper surface there are Chinese characters and the eight trigrams of the I Ching within circular bands. In the centre are raised dots, presumably relating to geomancy...

Very rare pendant in cast bronze representing a fabulous animal. It could be a bird because on the back there seems to be stylized feathers and the mouth seems to be garnished with a beak, but it could also be the fangs of a dragon? The animal surrounds a cartouche which contains archaic Chinese characters. The object is certainly very old and the style would indicate a very high Shang or Zhou period but the patina is not archaic...

A Chinese SONG YUAN DYNASTY (960-1297) Celadon Bowl swiftly incised with a rare butterfly-like design/pattern. The foot of the bowl remains unglazed and has some original soil deposit as this is a river find. Very fine condition, no chips, hairlines, restorations nor repairs. Rare Finely Detailed Chinese Song Dynasty Incised Celadon Porcelain Bowl

This very attractive porcelain bowl was made during the 12th or 13th century at one of the kilns in Fujian province, where such wares were made for export around south-east Asia; indeed the silky-matt feel and appearance of the glaze suggest this bowl has been recovered from a shipwreck.

Fine Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl with Floral Pattern

This fine-quality porcelain bowl was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279). The inner surface is skilfully decorated with an incised floral pattern, most likely the peony. Chinese Yuan Dynasty Jun Bowl

This stoneware junyao bowl was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is heavily-potted and coated in a thick jun glaze. The colour of the glaze varies from a pale mauve to a yellowish-grey. The glaze falls short of the foot that remains unglazed and has fired to a pale yellowish-brown. Within the recessed base is a Chinese character in fired-on black pigment.
