This interesting pottery vessel was made over 3,000 years ago during the Chinese Neolithic or early Bronze Age. The form is of a cooking vessel and the three wide udder-shaped legs allow it to be stood in a fire with as much heat as possible being transmitted to its contents. Chinese Neolithic Painted Pottery Jar - Machang (c. 2300 - 2000 BC)

This twin-handled pottery jar was made over 4,000 years ago during the Machang Phase (c. 2300 - 2000 BC) of the Majiayao culture, also known as the Gansu-Yangshao culture, from present day Gansu or Qinghai province. It is quite thin-walled and relatively highly-fired. Chinese late Tang dynasty to Five Dynasties period stoneware ewer with high shoulder tapering down to a slightly flared foot and flat base, the short neck ending in a slightly wider rolled mouth. A double-strand handle connects to the neck and shoulder, and a short straight spout is opposite the handle. Vintage Chinese Gilt Silver Filigree Jadeite & Tourmaline Bracelet

It is 5.35 inches (13.6 cm) in inner circumference by 1.18 inches (3 cm) wide. The bead is 17.4 mm-19.4 mm. It is 42.2 gram.

The jadeite and tourmaline have inclusions and surface wears. The silver is tarnished and has minor loss of gilding (as seen in the photos).

1930's Chinese Famille Rose Sweetmeat Dishes Butterfly Shaped Wood Carved Tray Marked

The wood tray is 16.1 inches (41 cm) long by 18.1 inches (46 cm) wide and 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall. The dishes are 1.2 inches (3.1 cm) tall by 5.3 (13.5 cm) to 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) long and 3.1 inches (8 cm) to 4.7 inches (12 cm) wide. The total weight is 5.8 lb.
