SOLD Antique hand carved turquoise figurine of Liu Hai with his 3 legged money toad on his shoulder. Dates Late Qing, circa 1910. The carving, details and overall appearance is wonderful. In perfect condition with superb age hues to the surfaces as well as the good colors, it measures: Figurine only, Height 4" x Width 2-3/4" x Depth 1-1/4". Height on Stand 4-3/4"

Chinese late Qing dynasty Yixing stoneware teapot of buff colored clay with globular body, fixed upright U-shaped handle, and slightly concave base. The body is decorated around the circumference with relief applied leafy grape vines. The spout and handle are formed to resemble knotty twigs. $850.00 Lohan in Chinese porcelain covered with "famille verte" enamels.The deity is represented standing holding a flowers basket in his hand, it is probably Lan Caihe, one of the 8 Taoist immortals otherwise known as the 8 Baxian. The dress is decorated with flowers, butterflies and clouds in green, yellow and manganese enamels on a cream background. Hairs and details in black enamel. Good condition except a very little chip.

Decoration in Famille rose enamels of a large peony in bloom with an orange ribbon and some other scattered flowers, all surrounded by a thin diaper border in matte turquoise. The whole plate with a light greenish tint to the glaze. Brown-glazed rim. Diameter: / 22.8 cm. Condition: a few small spots of glaze wear to the well, otherwise fine.
Large Chinese Qing dynasty naturalistic form wood scroll pot carved from a single piece of wood with human figures, a monkey holding the peach of immortality, and other creatures extending around the exterior. It was clearly not designed to hold water as there are openwork areas throughout. The top reveals two separate holders. An inset wood plug is at the base. 19th century. 10 7/8” high x 8 3/4” across at the widest part of the rim (base 7 1/2" across at the widest part); weighs 4 lbs...

sold Hard stone cup, probably Jadeite. The more or less pale nuanced ocher colored stone is stained with a pretty green and veined with rust. The cut is very thin which required good control. Uneven grinding and a soft sheen suggest that this cut is ancient, difficult to date with certainty. Chinese work from the 19th century or before.

$3,200.00 Covered vase in nuanced ocher jade, decorated in relief with a grinding wheel with Taotie masks. Very good quality of sculpture. The stone is probably fire-patinated to imitate the color of archaic jade as was usually the case in the Ming Dynasty. It is impossible for me to date such an object. It is old, probably from the 18th century but could be earlier. Good condition, except for a few dents on the lid that can be seen on an enlarged photo. Height: 12cm.
