A rare large Chinese carved wooden figure of a Goldfish. The fish is covered with gold lacquer over a brown lacquer base. It has bulging black and white glass eyes, fins, scales, and a large fan shaped tail. The underside shows the brown lacquer base coat. The fish measures about 15" long x 6" wide at the broadest point of the tail, and it dates to the early 20th Century...

An antique Chinese skinny bench made entirely of Elm wood. Having acquired an antique patina over the years of weathering and loving use, it is sturdy and ready for its next century of function.

Contemporary uses include placement at the end of a bed, behind a sofa or in an entryway for ease of removing ones shoes before entering a home.

19th Century Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer Carving Table Screen with Lady Figure

It is 13.6 inches (34.5 cm) tall by 10.75 inches (27.6 cm) wide. The lacquer is 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) tall by 6.7 inches (17.2 cm) wide. It is 2 Lb.

It has small chips at the lacquer and chips at the frame's corner upper side, and back, and has glue trace at the upper side of frame. and surface wears (as seen in the photos).

He wears a long, belted tunic with open collar and cloth hat. His hands are raised and drilled to hold the reins for a horse. 17 3/8” high. Circa 7th to 8th century. Rare Chinese hat in silk, silver and gold kesi. Built like a melon with 6 pieces of sewn kesi. The ponpon is original in silk and silver. Excellent quality the points are tight and thick for more strength. The decor is extremely rare, it is made up of assembled cubes. From memory I remember having seen on an imperial porcelain a similar cubic decoration, it was specified that they were stylized dragons...
