This is a very rare round hole coin known as a Yuan, as identified by the single character on the right. Yuan was a city in the state of Liang in ancient China. This coin has not been acid treated nor artificially aged, it is well worn and has the verdigris that is natural and impossible to scrape off by conventional means. Large Chinese basket, tall stacking carrying basket, made of bamboo with iron handle, three compartments, outfitted with removable glass top so that it may be used as an end table or stand, the basket has a large character on the top and woven patterns on all sides, the tiered basket sits in a large bamboo frame with handle, Republic Period. Size: 37" high total (30 1/4" high to top of stand) x 18 1/2" wide x 18 1/2" deep.

A decorative fragment taken from the cuffs (horse-hoof shape) of a summer silk dragon robe with five clawed front facing dragons (couched pure silver wrapped threads) on a fish net like gauze weave. Each dragons appears to be wearing headdress. The cuffs from each sleeve are sewn together in the center and the borders are silver brocades. Circa, first half of 19th century. Approx. 19" x 15 1/4"

Antique Chinese fan with two lovely women hand painted on feathers. The body of the fan appear to be made of bone. The colors of the peacock feathers are beautiful.The light reflected in gold (frame), took away the age. All and all, It has more antique look than shown in the photos. A Huali wood covered box was preserved in a very good condition.
By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out.
Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age.
In quite good size, it was used as a storage box for scholar’s utensils.

This large pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.

It is made from a buff-coloured pottery and a very elegant example of its type. It stands on quite an elaborate integral pedestal with the lower body decorated with bands of applied lotus leaves...
