Chinese Natural Turquoise stone Tassel/Pendant, 7" long total length, 3/4" wide and 5/8" high for center oval shape carved Turquoise with Chinese Character inscribed on both side attached with round Turquoise beads on the top and the bottom, wrapped around with Chinese style Macrame cord. The Turquoise stone is old and in good condition with natural infusions.

A large brown band encircles the shoulder and below the floral sprays are several thin bands - some straight and some wavy. Typical of this type. A fabulous piece of black satin silk embroidered with real seed pearls to create 2 bouquets and 3 individual flowers. Custom made in the 1950's there are about 2,000 seed pearls which are individually hand sewn. There are 3 sizes of small pearls in two different shades, two are a silvery dark grey/black color and the third is a medium black. A Cizhou ceramic pillow with an ivory colored glaze which continues to a little above the base. The center of the headrest is painted fluidly with a floral spray in a brown iron pigment while a loose band of three freely incised lines encircle the flower. The base is left unglazed. Period: Song (10th Century) Size: Width = 23.5 cm (9-1/4 inches) Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Some loss of the glaze on both top edges.
