Sold. A male back Mandarin square with a leopard, denoting the 3rd military rank. Silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details. The animal is standing on a rock above deep water, the ground with Taoist longevity symbols. The background was probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days. Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked monochrome beehive form waterpot (taibo zun) subtly incised with three kui dragon roundels on the domed body. The sky blue glaze thins to white at the rim. SOLD Antique fish sculpture, made from silver, with a fully articulated body, allowing wonderful lifelike movement. The forehead bears a symbol of two fish swimming closely in a yin yang formation. Its mouth is slightly open, almost smiling. Each of its scales has been embossed with intricate designs. A four character Chinese manufacturer's mark can be seen underneath the chin.

Two panels from a multipart Chinese ink and color on silk painting after Ding Yunpeng (active 1584-1638). The first Signed “Nanyu Ding Yunpeng” and with two red seals. Measures 94.5”V (85.5”V excluding mounting) x just under 23”H. 19th century or earlier. Very good overall condition. Good overall condition. The top wood bar is missing and a section of the top silk mounting is tattered. The painting has some typical buckling, creasing, soiling, and wear. Sold. A Chinese bronze censer with good patina in the form of a peach with leafage, standing on three feet. The lid with a smaller peach as knob. Condition: fine, only one leave with a short crack (see photo no. 6). Dimension: c. 13.6 cm long, 11.2 cm high, 11.5 cm wide.

Liao Flask shaped like a leather prototype with a vertical spout and a loop handle on the other side, both rising from a tall ovoid body covered in a rich glossy amber glaze, stopping above the foot to reveal the buff stoneware. Size: 31.5 cm.high.

Glazed with turquoise, amber and green enamels, this laughing Buddha holds his large belly with one hand, and clasps a rosary in the other. The back is unglazed and a stabilized hairline extends from the foot to the top of the base. There is a collection inventory number incised on the rear base and there is a small chip to the foot. It is accompanied by a later carved wooden base. Height: 11 in., Width: 6 ¾ in.
