A bombe form bronze censer finely carved with four winged mythical animals and two fish. The base carries a Xuande reign mark but this item was made later, probably circa 1795-1850 during the reign of the Jiaqing or Daoguang emperors. Condition - very good - this item had been polished when we acquired it about eight years ago but is now regaining its patination; there are no damages or losses. Pair of Chinese antique carved chairs with dragons, carved of very heavy hard wood with beautiful grain and medium brown finish, curved arms with dragon arm rests, back splat with dragon in swirling clouds, each chair has 4 dragon claws for feet, apron is carved grapes and vines, each chair has 10 dragons, made for export, circa 1900. Size: 33" high x 24" wide x 24" deep.

Description:

A Zitan brush-licker was in vibrant form.
By traditional designs on the patterns of the sea waves, this wood scholar dish was surrounded on the rim with scrolling water.
Purplish oxidation was happened to the surface when grayish deposition was found within the crevices.

Description:

A rock crystal carving was well depicted as a Guanyin holding a baby.
By characteristically dated features on the faces of the deity and the baby, the figures were well carved on the robes with affluent lines.
The benign facial expression of the Guanyin and the smiling face of the baby were well rendered by excellent traditional craftsmanship.
The rock crystal here was not in pure transparent look...

Yuan/Ming Longquan Celadon Ewer. Length approximately 9 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height approximately 7.8 cm. An old repaired at the spout. Good condition.

Description:

A bronze sitting Buddha was well cast by well rendered carving craftsmanship.
In very good metal material, the ancient bronze figure was coated with darken patina and reflected with retrospective sheen.
He was preserved in perfect condition only with some casting holes on the back.
He was well depicted in details and showed a grandeur look despite the small size.
An old collection wood box is accompanied.

A brush pot was made from the hard-quality and very rare Huangyoungmu's root wood.
In intriguing and natural shape, the brush pot was preserved preciously by generations and have obtained the charming honey-brown patina that the ancient wood piece would only get.
It was in perfect condition.
One original hole was down underside. It was for fastening to a possible base...

Rare 18th Century Chinese Helmet with Original Dragon Embroidery Intact. Height: 17 inches, 43 cm.

A very finely painted fencai/famille rose enamelled teapot.The poem on the reverse side reads - "fang sheng chi jia; xiang qin xiu pi" which can be translated - "Fragrance (of tea)formed between teeth and cheeks; the scent (of the tea) deeply affects heart and spleen (refreshes one deeply)". It is signed "nie xing she zou" - "made by Nie Xing Sheng" (b.1909; d.1981) - active 1916-1981. The base mark reads Jiang Xi Mei Shu Ci Chang - "Jiangxi Art Porcelain Factory"...

A rare, finely decorated, late Ming twin-handled bronze vase which still retains traces its original gilding. The vase carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later during the 16th or early 17th Century - possibly during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). Lovely small wooden house altar with fine carving and its original gilding and the original cover (most of the time the covers are missing). 19th century. Dimensions: 35x30x14 cm. Condition: a crack in the cover, some wear to the lacquer and gilding.

Description:

A thin, white-glazed dish was decorated on the surface with vibrant motifs of a galloping horse among flowers and weeds.
By the rice-white glaze, it was revealed with the light grayish-tinted body clay on the rim.
With characteristic shape, the tear-dropping glaze, the dated and exact design of the motifs, and the obvious incursions(which in sore's-like condition under magnify glass) happened to the glaze, the dish can be fully verified its authentication...

It is 2.3 inches (6 cm) tall by 2 inches (5.1 cm) wide. It is 0.1 Lb.

It is in good condition with no repairs, or cracks, except small flea bite chips at the leaves (bottle) and the bird (stopper), and the cover maybe added at later period (as seen in the photos).
