Lidded box, a soap box of quatrefoil ogee shape. Decoration of a garden family scene and a Qilin procession in the soft Famille rose colours of the Tongzhi period but later, probably c 1920. Stamped Tongzhi mark to the base, and a Beijing shop sticker. Length " 4½/ 11 cm, height without the handle "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: slight wear (cf. pics).

Chinese Blue and White Porcelain covered Paste Ink Box, Ca. late 1700's, 1 3/8" high, 2 1/2" diameter, underglaze dark Blue flower decoration on the grayish white color of body in the center on top of the cover, glaze hairline about 1" to 1 1/2" long but not open hairline underneath the cover inside, some surface scratches on top of the cover in the center area.

3 pieces trio set of Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain set, consist of the Tea Bowl, Saucer and a demitasse cup with handle, Ca. 1800, 5" diameter(saucer), 3" diameter and 1 3/4" high(tea bowl), 2 1/4" high and 3 1/8" wide include handle(demitasse cup), decorated overglaze gold and orange color of Initials "JMB" within pink floral drapes along the rim as well as inner circle, demitasse cup has restored chip on the rim, tea bowl and saucer are in good condition.

A blue and white gravy jug or creamer, Chinese export porcelain, c 1830. The hand painted decoration of pagodas in a seascape is cut off on both sides of the handle, mimicking the competitive English porcelain factories, where this was an obvious downside of the new and rational method of printing. Unusual example of a Ming glass flower, emulating Nephrite jade, this would have sewn onto a piece of clothing or a hat as a kind of jewelry. This appears to have been cast from a mold, the edges are surrounding by tiny chips- most likely these were cast in groups and cut off from the single sheet. There was lot of dirt on this piece when I acquired it indicating this is an excavated piece, I have cleaned it up the best I could...
