$450.00 A Chinese porcelain puzzle tea pot with famille verte color palette motifs of flowers on flecked enamel ground. The teapot is in the shape of the Chinese character "fu" meaning "good fortune". The piece is hand-painted in enamel with the image of a court official and vase on one side, and an attendant holding a flower on the reverse side. Old restoration.

Sold. Thank you. Vest made of tiny bamboo beads and all hand-strung with cotton threads. It was worn till early 20th century (Quin Dynasty) as an underwear of silk garments, especially in the southern China or neighboring countries. It made a wearer keep cool and avoid the outer garment wetting by sweat. Generally in good condition but almost 30 beads are missing. 19th to early 20th century. 48cm x 52cm

A pair funny Chinese lions, the male leaning his paw upon a embroidered ball and the female with a small cub, both sitting on a pierced stand. Each carved from a single piece of boxwood. Dimension: c. 10. 3 cm high. Condition: few tiny losses and cracks.

$450.00 A wondreful Chinese wood panel with three goats, an auspicious symbol of peace, harmony and good fortune. The panel was painted with red lacquer and then gold gilt was applied. As a decorative piece it would look great over hung over a doorway or above a large painting. In very good condition, it measures just short of 24 inches long by 7 3/4" high.

$450.00 A large intricately carved and pierced Chinese soapstone censer. This censer features 3 large foo dogs: two foo dogs at the top of the body with a foo dog removable finial or lid. Three small foo dogs frolic under the 2 larger dogs. The base is a very dark brown, hand carved and not removable. In excellent condition, the censer, as pictured in photo 1, measures 11 inches x 11" x 2.25".

The interior of the jar covered with glossy crackle glaze.

In the collection of the British Museum there is a cup of similar form ( it´s base as well with 5 spur marks ) that is dated to the Kangxi period, Jingdezhen ware. ( Museum Number : PDF, A. 516 )
