$4,200.00 An antique Chinese architectural corbel featuring a deer and its fawn, Lingzhi, a Pine tree, a monkey, a magpie, a Wutong tree, a wasp and its nest. Full of symbolism, it represents, longevity, immortality, health, happiness, taking action, and the protection of family. Entirely hand carved out of one solid block of Nanmu wood.

Price on Request Chinese sandstone carving of Buddha's head, a fragment from a larger statue. This buddha has delicate features and a beautiful expression with high arching brows over half lidded eyes and a slight smile. Hair is a series of continuous sweeping rows over a subtle cranial protuberance. Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577).
Size of head: 12 1/2" high. Total size including stand: 18 1/2" high. (custom Black Iron Stand).
A Chinese jade libation cup of pale green hue with a flash of russet, carved in the shape of a peach and standing on a five petal support. The outside has scrolling foliage and the handle is formed as a flower spray with a flat reticulated top surface. An excellent example of 16/17 century lapidary art and in excellent condition. It comes with its own custom made wooden stand. size: 10 cm long
An amazing matching pair of a male and a female glazed pottery attendants from the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
This type & size is very rare and were made as tomb figures for wealthy and prominent people during the Ming Dynaasty. The male attendant with greyish-black robe over a cobolt blue and torquoise glazed dress and a round red hat and with black rim. Many nice details. He is standing a tray and a mug or cup in his hands...

$4,300.00 A large rosewood, huanghuali brush pot, bitong of simple cylindrical form with thick walls and the base with an inset plug. The wood grain has particularly nice patterns, with a few 'ghost eyes', and a wonderful deep honey-brown patina.

Condition: good with a couple of chips at the lower part and thin hairline at the bottom.

$4,400 A finely carved Suzhou school agate snuff bottle. Decoration of figures, picked out from natural colors of the stone, in landscape of hilly bluffs with overhanging pine and whispy cloud. Based on the gourd in the sash of the larger figure - possibly depicting the immortal, Le Tieguai. Nicely defined foot rim. The top rim with broad, just slightly concave surface. Very well hollowed. Height of bottle without cap, 2 5/8 inches. Height with cap, 3 1/8 inches...

$4,500.00 Antique Chinese cloisonne clock, made of bronze and inset all over with beautiful cloisonne, oval shape base and top, stands on 6 feet, surrounded with 10 cloisonne columns (5 on each side), original glass doors on front and back, clock face painted with tiny flower garlands, glass door in back reveals pendulum and mechanism which still seems to function smoothly, c. 1900.

$4,500.00 Pair of Qilin, a Chinese mythical beast sometimes associated with giraffes or Camelopard. Polychrome glaze on clay, with fine detailing. Bottom of the pair contains a seal reading: Qianlong Nianzhi which would be from the mid to late 18th century. However in reality the piece was made during the 19th century. Size: Length: 4" Width: 2.5" Height:10.25".

$4,500.00 Chinese jade pair of horses with a monkey riding one the back of one of the horses. The imagery used on this Chinese carving can be derived from the noted legend of Journey to the West, where the monkey king is assigned by the Jade Emperor to oversee the heavenly stables, but does mischief in the end. Horses in East Asia represent swiftness and the monkey representing representing foolishness yet with the ability to learn its lesson. Age: 20th century. Size: height 4.25" width 5.5" length 6.5"

Sale Pending A scholar taste Chinese Jade ink stone. The stone is a nephrite jade in the form of a flat craggily gonshi stone. The use of the stone, which has inclusions would be used to hold colored ink or water. The reverse side is to grind ink stick.

SOLD An antique Chinese Lingbi stone (scholar's rock or spirit stone) has a very distinct ring when it is struck. Scholar's rocks are appreciated for their unusual shapes, asymmetry, color and texture. Scholars refer to them as "bones of the earth". It is a carved blackish stone overhang with perforations. It set upon a contemporary Shuozhou style carved rosewood base with 4 rounded feet.
