A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!

Lidded box, a soap box of quatrefoil ogee shape. Decoration of a garden family scene and a Qilin procession in the soft Famille rose colours of the Tongzhi period but later, probably c 1920. Stamped Tongzhi mark to the base, and a Beijing shop sticker. Length " 4½/ 11 cm, height without the handle "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: slight wear (cf. pics).

Tiny porcelain covered jar decorated with plants in polychrome enamels. You can recognize a maple tree. Probably Chinese work of 18th century, but perhaps Japanese Arita late 17°. A very pretty frame in cast and gilded bronze signed by the prestigious Parisian goldsmith "Boin-Taburet". The mark stamped on the side of the bronze base.European frames generally weigh down the porcelain, but here this attractive discreet frame sublimates this pretty small pot. Good condition. No restaure....

Three antique hexagonal Chinese silver cups decorated with figures, bamboo and plum twigs. Base marked "KC" and Chinese characters (according to Adrien von Ferscht: a silversmith active 1825-1900 in Canton). Two with original glass inserts. A massive and extremely rare Mandarin and famille rose pattern bottle with lid. This rare Chinese export stands at 18 inches high with the lid. In excellent condition, no cracks, hairlines, chips, etc. Only minimal wear to the enamels about the neck handle, where it was most likely held. Circa 1840.

Straits Chinese silver hallmarked adjustable mesh belt with a three-part buckle decorated in low relief with a fish among flowers. The back of the buckle contains two hallmarks with Chinese characters (see enlargement 4). 19th century. High grade silver weighing about 8 oz. Measures 34" long from end to end. The three-part buckle is about 4 3/4" x 1 3/4." Very good overall condition with minor wear and a few tiny snags at the edge of the mesh...

Fine Large Chinese Qianlong 18th Century Imari Porcelain Dish

This fine-quality porcelain dish with attractive floral pattern in underglaze blue, red enamel and gilding, was made during the 18th century, most likely during the Qianlong reign (1736 - 1795). There is a brown iron wash around the rim edge to prevent "fritting" of the glaze during firing. There is no restoration or repair, no cracks and the dish has a good ring when tapped; it is in fine condition...
