The hand painted decoration of pagodas in a seascape is cut off on both sides of the handle, mimicking the competitive English porcelain factories, where this was an obvious downside of the new and rational method of printing. Width "5 ¼ / 13, height with handle "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the spout (cf. last pic).

Diameter of saucer "4/ 10.5 cm, height of cup "1 ½/ 3.5 cm. Condition: wear to the gilt, one hairline each to cup and saucer (cf. pics).

Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: a professional restoration is visible near the beak where the decoration is restored with exactly the same enamels as the original (cf. pics).

A pair very decorative Chinese shellwork and mother-of-pearl encrusted vases in the Grotto-style. The four sides with an engraved medaillon showing an elephant, dormice, rabbits or a deer. Wooden core and lacquered base. Condition: few missing shells, traces of age. Dimension: c. 18 cm height.
A pair Kangxi period (1662-1722) molded plates with foliated rim, painted in overglaze red pigment and gold. This kind of trade porcelain was produced to special order for the Dutch market and called there "melk and bloed". Condition: wear to gilding, rims with fritting - no hairlines or restoration. Dimension: c. diameter 21.7 cm, 2.5 cm high.
