Chinese porcelain figurine with a beautiful rich turquoise glaze. In Excellent condition, it measures 7 1/8 inches high. Circa 1900

Chinese porcelain lidded dish, with " Children at Play " theme design, Chinese seal mark to the base, late 19th/early 20th century period. Size, Height of the dish is 5 1/2 inches with diameter of 6 inches, in very good condition.

DESCRIPTION: A pair of porcelain figures, each a representation of Li T'ieh-kuai, one of the Chinese eight immortals. Li T'ieh-kuai is always represented as a lame beggar leaning on a crutch with a pilgrim's gourd in hand. The Eight Immortals are legendary beings of the Taoist sect who attained immortality and dwell in the remote hills and mountains of China. Both of these figures date from C. 1900, with the larger one's inner base stamped with "China" in red ink...

Chinese export porcelain model of Zhang Guolao, one of the eight Taoist immortals. He is holding a bamboo drum and riding on a mule. Dating to the late Qianlong period. With later wooden stand. Condition: fine, except the inserted ears of the animal are lost. Dimension: 22.5 cm high x 16.2 cm long (without stand).

Circa 1900, a lovely Chinese porcelain box featuring a floral theme on all sides with engraved bronze or brass metalwork. In excellent condition including the hinge, this box measures 5" x 3.5" x 2.55".

This finely detailed Chinese porcelain plate would make a fine addition to any Rose Mandarin or Rose Medallion collection. It is unusual in that the central medallion features a group of scholars. The rough and somewhat gritty bottom of the plate without any factory markings suggest a factory production circa 1850-1891. In very good antique condition, there is some wear to the enameling in one spot. See photos. Measures 9.5 inches diameter.

Chinese work from the end of the 18th century, probably made for export via the "compagnie de indies". Relief decorations are rare. Good condition, wear from use visible on photos. No restaure. An unusual Pith / 'Rice' paper picture, delicately painted with a scene from a dramatization of "The Death of Ma Su" who was a famous General under the command of Scholar, Inventor and Political and Military Strategist Zhu Ge Liang (181-234 AD). This story is to be found in the historical novel the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and also in the Peking opera "Loss of Jieting"...

A quite large mother of pearl shell carving, the pierced decoration is showing the deity Magu among birds and flowers. Condition: the rim with a short crack, without stand. Dimension: c. 20.5 cm long x 17.6 cm high.

18th century French engraving depicting Chinese palaces in a mountainous landscape. The scene is treated in the Chinese style and it is very likely that the draftsman was Chinese, however, the engraving is French and dates from the 18th century. Many details, beautiful print. A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period. The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages. It has rubbing of gold and paint, dark spots, skip and excess glazes, glaze cracks, chips at the lid and ear, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

A Chinese mother of pearl box of canted rectangular shape and mounted with silver edgings. The cover is delicately and minutely engraved with a scene of figures at leisure in a pavilion surrounding a vacant shield. The sides bear panels of very finely worked flowers with geometric borders.
