A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period. The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages. Both of these figures date from C. 1900, with the larger one's inner base stamped with "China" in red ink...

A large Chinese bonbon dish made by Wang Hing. Made of mother of pearl shell with silver bamboo legs in tripod form, it is surprising sturdy. Marked Wang Hing on one of the bottom legs, it is in excellent condition and measures 5 inches high. Across, the shell measures 8.75' at its longest point and 7" at its shortest distance.

Size: 23 cm high. weight ; 8 1/4 oz. two maker's stamps in Chinese characters on the base. It reads YUAN BEI which was an artisan workshop in Tianjin. The middle set of marks reads"wen yen" meaning "cash silver" and indicating a standard similar to Sterling...
