Pair of Greyhounds in tilework covered with green glaze.The sculptures are beautiful, the dogs are well represented, very expressive. The position is elegant. The first is in good condition, the second has a broken tail. Long: 17cm (6.7 inches) In my opinion it's a chinese work, the look and the eyes seem to me the work of a Chinese artist and not a European one,clay too. I think it's from Qing period, probably Kangxi. It's too elegant to be Ming.

An octagonal wooden box with hinged lid, the interior with original pewter tea caddy, original key. Finely painted in two different gold tones showing scenes with figurines in courtyards, on a black lacquered ground. Condition: fine quite pristine, few traces of usage, the lock seems not to work. Dimension: 17.3 x 12.1 x 10.3 cm, weight: 740 g.

Covered pot in Chinese Imari porcelain decorated with peonies and chrysanthemums in a pot. The domed lid is surmounted by a seated figure in gilt bronze.
The lips and the circumference of the lid are underlined by a floral motif in blue underglaze arranged in a frieze, enhanced by gilding and punctuated by small cartouches. The golden handles remind a plant motif...

Chinese Qing dynasty (19th century) export watercolor on paper painting titled “Chinese Junk.” A lone figure stands at the front of the junk tending to the sails. The heads of the rowers are barely visible. Originally purchased from or framed at Berry-Hill Galleries on 5th Avenue in New York. Recently reframed with archival materials and UV glass in a substantial gold leaf frame with silk mat and gold filet. Sight size: 16 1/4" x nearly 22” (frame: 23 1/2" x 29”)...

Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

An exquisite Chinese black lacquer and gold gilt sewing chest with multi colored lacquer panels and a rare built in mirror that swings out. The exterior feet are carved in the image of large winged gold gilt bats with red open mouths and the box still has its original key that locks and unlocks both the top and bottom drawers. This sewing box has all of its original ivory sewing tools that were hand carved in deep relief...

Superb museum quality carved Chinese wood brise fan with deeply worked guard sticks and finely done inner sticks carved equally to both sides of lovely scenes. Larger than most brise fans, it also still has its original hand carved presentation box fitted in silk. Made in Canton, China for the export market, the fan and box dates circa 1870-1880. Condition is wonderful to both and a must have for the collector. Fan length 9.5" x fully opened 16.5" with case being 12.5" long x 2.5" x 2.5"

A Chinese erotic painting from an album. Showing a couple in a room amidst scholar objects. Finely painted in ink, gouache and gold on paper, with light blue silk border. Dimension: c. 25.8 x 24 cm. Condition: traces of age and former mounting, slightly stained.

Chinese export porcelain stem plate, made for the Thai market. With polychrome decoration of Thepanom between two Norasingh, among foliage on a black ground, details of the deities in gold. Two antique steel-line engravings drawn by Thomas Allom (1804-1872) and engraved by Arthur Willmore (1814-1888) titled “Chinese Boatman Economizing Time & Labour, Poo-kou” and "The Fortress of Terror, Ting-hai" from “China in a Series of Views” published in London in 1843 and reprinted through 1859. The images were derived from sketches executed on the spot by Captain Stoddart, R. N. Purchased from Teresa Coleman Fine Arts in Hong Kong, with the certificate of authentication included...

Chinese silver box by Luen Wo; decorated with dragons chasing flaming pearls; marked on the base LW and script; late 19th century; good condition

A very fine Nanking export blue and white porcelain tea cup and perfectly matching saucer depicting lovely Chinese landscape with a pavillion, mountains, trees, birds and 3 people. Circa 1800. Condition: tea bowl excellent, the saucer has 2 miniscule, inconsequential rim chips.

Chinese Export Porcelain Platter made for American Market, circa 1800, 14 1/2" x 11 3/4" wide, 1 1/4" high, dark orange color rim and floral decoration in the center are all done overglaze enamel and highlighted in brilliant gold. Some gold finish rubbed off around the rim and small floral decorated area in the center. No damage or restoration.

A Chinese gaming counter, made for the European market around 1800. Mother of pearl, engraved with scroll work and a star to one side, the other with butterflies. Width "2½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Chinese Export Rose Mandarin low relief and open design Porcelain Brush Pot, 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" diameter, Ca. 1830, with molded and low relief design of Chinese Scholars in the garden scene, raised design in overglaze enamel decoration. Glaze star crack on the bottom and two(2) stains on unglazed bottom rim. Some kiln bubbles popped on the gilded top rim which is somewhat worn from the usage.
