Up for sale is an antique Chinese silk chair cover tapestry, vibrant red color silk and wool ground embroidered with Chinese auspicious objects, Ruyi scepter, golden pheasants, peonies, bats, peaches, magnolia, and lotus foliage, using with silk floss and gold threads; back with red silk brocade with longevity symbols. Tapestry is excellent condition. No wear or damage. Measurements: Height 63", width 19".

This soft pale pink colored antique Chinese silk skirt is from the late 1800's. The traditional floral embroidery is mainly uses satin stitch technique with the large flower in the center of the front and rear panels use Peking knots. In over all excellent condition but the two panel have been stitched together and the waist band has been shortened to accommodate the adjustment. Also the lining has been removed.....

Antique Chinese silk kesi panel with a thin black border. It has a gold-tan main background color, with billowing clouds and rock formations in soft shades of mauve, muted blues, pinks, and greens. From the bottom edge, a sailboat with a striped sail approaches the shore while a man in red robes watches from his window. Two smaller boats can be seen off in the distance towards the top section of the panel. 19th century Size: 38" height, 9.75" width

Antique Chinese silk kesi panel with a thin black border. It has a gold-tan main background color, depicting a canyon scene with billowing clouds and rock formations in soft shades of mauve, muted blues, pinks, and greens. One cloud has an interesting vibrant purple shade peeking out from its side. A bearded man is shown crossing a bridge, riding a grey horse or mule while a man in red and and grey clothing follows closely behind. 19th century Size: 38" height, 9.75" width

Red silk with blue borders, embroidered in colored silk and gold thread. The gilded buttons with scenes of figures in a boat. On the back of the buttons a text: ' rich treble gilt' and ' T.W. & W'. Dimensions: h. 89 cm, w. 157 cm (from sleeve to sleeve). Some stains and discoloring but generally in good condition. Ca. Late 19th/early 20th century.

The center of the panel is light green silk, with two mirrored fenghuang birds with long, gold tails and pink, blue and gold thread feathers, surrounded by pink and blue silk flowers with gold accenting. Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. The back of the robe features a large bulb-eyed goldfish at its top and along its bottom are several birds done in coiled, gold thread. Size: 37" height, 62.5" width

Antique Chinese silken robe in a deep navy color adorned with blue butterflies, blue flowers with forbidden stitching, and rolling waves along the bottom. The sleeves are white silk with embroidery depicting flora and architecture in shades of blue, surrounded by gold stitching, with a beautiful robed woman carrying a fan. The mandarin collar has brightly colored cranes on either side and blue lucky bats on the back of the neck. Gold fasteners of interesting shape adorn the robe's front...

Ivory satin robe, decorated with butterflies and flowers in various shades of pink, blue, and yellows, black satin detailing with cranes and butterflies, edged in deep blue. Gorgeous deep blue sleeves depict a dragon and phoenix coming into confrontation.
Chinese dragons represent masculinity and darkness while the phoenix (or feng-huang) represents femininity and light...
