Antique Chinese carved jadeite snuff bottle. The stone is speckled with variations of green including small striations of a brilliant apple-green color. The flattened globular formed body is carved with peony flowers on one side and lotus blossoms and birds on the other.

A rare antique Chinese apple green Peking Glass snuff bottle with stopper. The bottle has rounded shoulders and a thin carved oval shaped foot. The jade lid with a coiled dragon and bone spoon. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, Lapis Lazuli and other valuable minerals.

This is a very rare form for a Jade Bottle, its Cylindrical Form, and the variety of color skins that surround it and that appear to portray their own artistic rendering with splashes of Russet, brownish, light brown, black, gray, over a white-gray ground. It was probably made during the period Qing Dinasty period, 1740-1840. Antique Chinese snuff bottle made of porcelain and decorated on four sides. Two sides are painted with enamel glaze scenes of white herons and lotus blossoms. The other two sides have large raised cartouches painted with red and green. The lid is made of pale green jade and has a long spoon made of bone.
