Antique Chinese guan pi xiang (document box), made of huanghuali hardwood and finely cut brass plate mounts and hinges. The top opens and is held in place by a small chain. The doors open to reveal 7 drawers of different sizes. Each drawer has been fitted with jewelry tray inserts covered in white raw silk.

A pair of Quan Yi Huanghuali horseshoe back armchairs from the 18th Century. The generously proportioned curving top rail is made in five parts using half-lap pressure peg joints terminating in a curved look beyond the goose-neck side and front corner post. The back splat is carved with a Chimera medallion. The back corner posts continues through the frame of the soft mat seat to form the back legs and front legs enclosing the cusped apron carved in relief with curling tendrils...

A very rare blackwood Hungmu rectangle table in it's original condition. This table has never been restored, has all the original hardware and is in fine condition for its age. Blackwood tables are quite rare. Age: Mid Qing Size: L.114cm, W.43cm, H.80cm. Condition: Some small minor old repairs

A large and rare Chinese blackwood day bed low table. This table was designed to be placed in the canopy bed for reading and eating. Date: Middle Qing. Size: L.81 cm,W.50 cm, H.31 cm. Condition: Very good. Possible old repair on top table. See last photo

The whole body, except for the top, is carved in relief with lingzhi fungus of hardwood of rosewood family. The waist, the apron, and the connecting joints are also decorated. The legs are slight cabriole leg with block carved hoof feet.

Republic Period

The set is entirely carved in high relief of lingzhi fungus intertwined and layered, creating an imaginative form of a deer, frog, and other figures. The throne-like chair with a waist, five panel slats and stiles, and slight carved cabriole legs all finely carved and connected. The tea table is waist high with a mitered corner and a smooth surface. The cabriole legs are supported with an additional stretcher for strength...

Chinese hardwood cabinet made with Jumu (elm) or "chicken wing" wood and brass pulls and mounts. The double front doors showcase the dramatic natural grain. Behind each set of doors are a red lacquered interior with single shelving. The mid section of the cabinet holds two drawers that open with auspicious lucky bat handles.

Chinese hardwood coffer cabinet, with relief carvings throughout of floral motifs with pigments. The front of the cabinet holds three drawers, opened by brass pulls. The sides and apron of the cabinet are carved with openwork foliate scrolls.

Antique Chinese tall carved altar table made of hardwood with burl. Ornately carved with highly raised pierced ruyi motif. Dates from late 19th century to early 20th century

A nice lacquer screen mirror used by Scholars in their work tables. The mirror is surrounded by the usual key fret design while the base is carved with the auspicious melon, peony and peach, representing longevity and prosperity. The mirror looks like it is the original mirror. Size: H. 62.5cm. W. at the base, 41.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Normal wear and some age cracks.

Long Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood bench crafted with four panels on the back rest, a curved front apron, and comfortable armrests. 19th century. 74 3/4" long x 29" high (17 1/2" high to seat) x 23" deep (21 1/4" depth of seat). Very sturdy and in very good overall condition. There are some minor separations from our dry Arizona climate. There is a small wood loss and old filled crack at one side of the bottom apron. A very large and rare unique lacquer panel screen with a variety of stone carvings of Quanyin and Her Disciples. The carved gold leaf panels most likely depict the life of the owner. The back of the panel has a beautiful painting of bamboo and birds. See Last photo. The panel is made into six parts that are interlocked together. Age. Mid. 19th Century. Size: 310 cm. X 215 cm.(10 Ft.X 7 Ft.) Condition: Very good for it's age.

An extremely rare matching set of a drum table and five matching stools made of Jichi wood or "Chicken Wing Wood" with a very large one piece burl wood top on the table and stools with a bamboo design. Bamboo carved furniture from very expensive wood is very rare as bamboo is a very inexpensive wood and to carve that bamboo design in the expensive wood is a sign of reverse snobbery reserved for the very rich at that time...

An antique Chinese hardwood low table (Kangzhuo) has an inset with floating top panel and is framed by a bamboo image on the edges. The edge scrolls down the legs. The side panels have prune wood images in low relief.
