A rare and very finely enamelled 18th Century Wucai Dragon and Phoenix Bowl - Qianlong mark and of the period (1736-1795).

Condition - there are three rim chips, three long hairline cracks and one short under the glaze hairline (please view enlargements); there has been no restoration...

A moulded porcelain chrysanthemum shaped bowl decorated on the outside in blue and white enamels with stylized scrolling lotus flowers and bats 'Fu' (good luck). Incorporated within this pattern are three overglaze red and gold 'Shou' (long life) characters. The base carries the iron red reign mark of the Daoguang emperor (1821-1850). This item was made in China, in the mid 19th Century, for export to the Malaysian "Straits" Chinese community...

Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain vase. With images of peony flowers and double blue band below the lip and above the foot. The tall cylindrical neck flutes to a rounded body with slightly tapered foot.

Antique Chinese pair of porcelain hat stands, glazed with a light orange ground, enamel motifs of various flowers including peony, chrysanthemum, birds, insects, gourd bottles, and other auspicious objects. Each stand is of a hexagonal form with pierced melon shaped areas. The feet are slightly recessed with white underglaze and buff edges.

Chinese altar fruit offering in Blanc de Chine. The peach has a tendril like stem and three leaves. The base is left unglazed with a single ventilation hole to prevent it from exploding or cracking during firing.

A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. Fine Qing dynasty blue and white snuff bottle with a nice over-glaze. A scene depicting a man, likely a gardener on one side and scholar on the other side receiving flowers. No apparent damage. A large ovoid Chinese Martavan (aka Martaban) jar from the 16th/17th century. (Martavan jars were produced in China's southern region and shipped, via the port of Martabanin present day Myanmar, to various neighboring countries as storage containers for various commodities...these storage vessels became prized possessions by the local peoples.) The jar has a lovely honey brown colored glaze with bold dragon relief motif and loop handles around the shoulder...

A large Chinese ceramic vase of a classic green tea dust glaze, with rich glaze "drips" along the inner rim and just above the foot, which is left bare along its edges and its recessed center glazed in tea dust. The vase has an angular form with concave neck and foot, with different sets of characters on its front and back in relief.

A circular qingbai porcelain box of compressed drum shape with neatly lobed sides and a slightly concave base. The domed cover has a concave top, which is mould-­impressed with small chrysanthemum flowers. Both the exterior and interior of the box and cover are coated in a thin, translucent bluish­-white glaze, leaving the rims and base unglazed, exposing the sugary white body, which has some brown and black firing marks...

A small antique blue and white porcelain Chinese tea pot dating to the middle of the 19th Century. The design on the pot is of blue vines and peony flowers. The pot measures about 5 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" in Diameter and has a matching lid. The pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
