Spectacular pair of Chinese celadon floor vases, with breathtaking hand fashioned tendrils and chrysanthemums in bouquets throughout. The contrast between the white biscuit and celadon glaze has a visual impact rarely seen on Chinese porcelain; the Buddhist foo dog and pup handles are a special feature that adds charm. These floors vases are in a most remarkable state of preservation, no chips, or other damage noted...

Chinese Blue and white Dragon and Clouds Kendi, Ching dynasty, 18th century, 12.5" High, with crackle to glaze.

Description:

A black-glazed water pot was in strong Zen spirit.
By an elegant elm bowl’s shape, the pot was applied on the surface with black slip when bluish white splashes were decorated intriguingly on top across the mouth rim.
Unglazed at the bottom, the foot ring was flat and was revealed with the body clay which was in dark brown tint.

Condition: Very good. No breaks. Natural crackle in the glaze from age.

A lovely water pot was finely mold.
Being beautifully decorated on the surface with colorful splashes, the water pot was authenticated as an archaic piece from Changsha kiln of Tang dynasty.
By a very fine condition of the glaze, the porcelain item was justified as a sought-after piece when most of the items found were in poor condition by severe degradations...

An early Republic Period hat stand painted in Qianjiang style with Shou Lao, the God of Longevity, carrying a branch of peaches. This lovely hat or wig stand can be used as a vase. In very good condition, it measures 11” high x 4.75” diameter.

Beautiful antique Chinese celadon glazed plate, incised with design of flowers and scrolling vines, Ming Dynasty (early 17th century). Size: 11" wide diameter x 2" high.

Chinese Black Stone Seated Quanyin on a rock promontory with bird perched on left side, holding scroll and beads, 10"H 8"W 5"D, MIng Dynasty, good patina to surface wear.

This is a unique and rare offering of a highly desirable Changsha kiln jar. Based on archaeological records, Changsha wares originated and were developed from the foundations of the Yue Zhou kilns which were built prior to the Tang Dynasty in the same region. Usually these are characterized by such components such as under-glazed brown and green motifs and with molded design in relief, appliqué designs or impressed designs in relief and also incised or carved designs...

Decorated with stylized panels revealing Foo dogs playing ball design on cherry blossoms background, on one side with an open-work of coin design.

Pair of Chinese Export saucer plates, Yongzheng or early Qianlong period, first part of the 18th century. Scalloped rims and decoration in under-glaze blue of flowers and seascapes in panels. The back of both with a chocolate-brown, "Batavian" glaze. Diameter "4½/ 11,5 cm. Condition: firing crack and rim frits to one plate, the other with a minimal nick to foot rim.
