A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. Pair of Qilin, a Chinese mythical beast sometimes associated with giraffes or Camelopard. Polychrome glaze on clay, with fine detailing. Bottom of the pair contains a seal reading: Qianlong Nianzhi which would be from the mid to late 18th century. However in reality the piece was made during the 19th century. This item was made in the late 19th Century for export, possibly during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874) when this style was first introduced. A charming late 19th C. Chinese tea cup and saucer, displaying the traditional dragon and other design elements. The hollowed transparent holes are covered with glaze to form the ever popular rice pattern. Various symbols such as the sunburst represent the Emperor and bats for good fortune, on the underside of the teacup are various Doaist symbols. Tea cup measures 2.75" diameter x 2" high, saucer measures 4" diameter x 1" high". In excellent condition without hairlines or chips.

Chinese vase with clay sculpture of a dragon on the top of the vase. The vase is decorated with ancient to old bronze coins from different eras of Chinese history. In the middle, there is an inscription written about the history of Chinese coin minting technology. The calligraphy is titled: Gu Qian Ton Shuo, the story of the ancient coins. Calligraphy is signed and dated; May of 1884, brushed by Qian long shi yuan Zhao Zhun guang. Age; 19th century. Size: Diameter: 14" Height: 23.75"

A small underglaze blue decorated stem dish painted inside with three 17th/18th Centuty style cranes and outside with three bats. The stem is decorated with buddhist knots and stylized plantain leaves. To the inside of the base is the four character mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was probably made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - there are two repairs to the rim, each with an associated short hairline. No further damages or restoration...

A greenish tone showing it's way to make the black enamels with a last layer of green glaze. Measurement: hight 19 cm = 7.5 in (with lid) Condition: Lid possibly not original. Lid with minor frittering. Vase with on ship at the rim. Further no restorations or damage.
