Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish (with Mark)

This impressive porcelain dish dates to c.1540 - 1620, from the late Jiajing reign to the Wanli reign. It has a foliated rim and is decorated in underglaze blue of good colour. The central decoration features a flower blossom surrounded by four be-ribboned Buddhistic lion-dogs. Surrounding the central roundel, around the cavetto, is a scrolling leaf scroll, with the flat upturned rim decorated with a wavy floral scroll...

A set of three Chinese Ming Dynasty pottery tomb figures of house attendants / gardeners. The figures date to Ming Dynasty - 1368-1644 AD.

The set consists of three figures clad in dark blue robes and hats. Each figure seems to be holding or carrying something for his master. A group of sturdy fellows, by the looks of them. All placed on square plints.

Size: the figures measure 22-23 cm. in height.

Condition: Choice condition with very minor wear and losses...

A beautiful Chinese pottery tomb figure of a female rider / Attendant on horseback holding a book or a box. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is finely glazed in cobalt blue and turqoise colors. Pigmented colours in red, white and black.

She has an elaborate high headdress and was made with many finely painted details, high quality.

A Kangxi period very large baluster- shaped jar and cover, decorated in blue and white with the body showing 36 panels each enclosing a composition of butterflies amongst leafy peony sprays. The borders also reflect a floral image whilst the cover repeats the themes of the panels. Small tea or wine bowl? in Chinese hard porcelain. Decoration of vases and stylized emblems painted in hight fired cobalt blue for the contours and colored enamels with muffle fire. Mark of Emperor Ming Chenghoa, but produced in Jingdezhen in the 18th century, probably during the reign of Kangxi. Good condition. 70x36mm
