A 16th century Ming Longquan celadon charger plate, heavily potted and covered with a crackled translucent pea-green glaze with a subtle bluish undertone...

Small ceramic cup of celadon color, with crackled glazing. Incised lotus motif at its center. China, Ming Dynasty. Diameter: 11.5 cm. Height: 3.3 cm. Very good condition.

A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.

The figure holds his masters Ming hat in his arms...

A beautiful and unusual Chinese Canton Export bowl with four painted sides with custom made stand. This shape is very unusual and rare in Canton ware . The workmanship is the finest. Bought in London many years ago. Size: Bowl, H. 10.5cm. W. 23.9 x 23.9cm. H. with stand. 24cm. Condition: Perfect.

A Chinese “Master of the Rocks” Saucer Dish, Kangxi, late 17th century. Typically, the decoration relies heavily on the techniques of contemporary ink painters with attention to naturalistic detail and various wet brush effects. The border of waterweed-like fronds appears on many such Master of the Rocks ceramics. The back is entirely plain.
