Sold A Blanc de Chine Libation Cup. Of rhinoceros horn form on one side with a tiger seated below flowering prunus whilst looking up at a Dragon. The other with a deer below pine and a stork. Chinese 18thC. Height 7.2 cm. Length 13.7 cm. Condition: there is a shallow glaze flake 0.4 cm and 0.3 cm to the rim (See last image) and a small flake in the foot.
Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period ribbed guglet vase decorated in fencai famille rose enamels with birds among flowering fruit trees, rockery, and bamboo all set against a white porcelain ground. 18th century. 10 1/4” high. Very good overall condition. The vase is slightly misshapen. There are burst bubbles in the glaze at the rim and scattered throughout that are consistent with production at that time...
