A nicely shaped large Yuan Dynasty incenser in light green celadon glaze with ribbing design to exterior. Small visible imperfections and small chips to glaze on rim and a small one to underside of one foot. Also, a faint hairline is visible on side of incenser. Diameter: 5 inches; height 2.50 inches. $985 DESCRIPTION: A fierce pair of Chinese pottery foo dogs, early Qing, 18th/19th C., covered with a heavy green glaze and seated on pedestals. Each bares its teeth ferociously while holding a ball between their front paws as well as in their mouths. Good detail with finely ribbed backs and curled manes. Very good condition. DIMENSIONS: Each approximately 9 ½” high (24 cm) x 5” wide (12.7 cm).

Sold A very rare sancai original, three color, glazed Tang duck cup probably used for drinking rice wine. Three colors with some blue cobalt. Check the closeup photos of the glaze with the natural cracking of the glaze due to long burial. It shows the authenticity of the piece.

A superb quality and very large pottery figure, dating to the Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD. He is placed on a rectangular podium and wears a fine robe in matching blue and turquoise glazes. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details. The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period...

$15,000.00 A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. This one is very rare as it dates back to the Song Dynasty. This vase was found in Borneo, Malaysia.
It is unusual to find this size jar intact from that period. Size: H. 76 cm. W. 57 cm...
Rarely encountered Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a court gentleman (often referred to as a “fat man”) wearing a scarf hat and dressed in a long, belted gown with one arm raised, his hand covered by his voluminous sleeve, and the other hand holding the belt. An acrylic stand is included. 14 1/4” high (excluding stand). Circa 7th to 8th century. Very good overall condition with nice detailing. From an Arizona collection. Purchased in Hong Kong in 1996.
