Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Bowl

We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

This bowl is fairly thinly-potted and has a flared rim and quite a sturdy foot. Diameter 12.25 cm...

Chinese large yixing zisha teapot with silver decorations. 23 cm wide from spout to handle. 16 cm body diameter. 10 cm high. Teapot has few small chipped at inside the lid, no crack.

1900's Chinese Yixing Zisha Enamel Pottery Sweetmeat Dish with 8 Immortal

It is 0.83 inch (2.1 cm) tall by 16.3 inches (41.5 cm) wide. It is 4 Lb.

It has chips at the rims, skip glazes, firing cracks, rubbing of paint, stains, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Small rooster in green and orange yellow glazed clay. Tang period. I will take more pictures on request. Good condition. A glued label with the number 7 of an old collection. The age is certain because I bought it 50 years ago and in 1970 there were no copies of Tang ceramics of such small size, the only copies that were made at that time were of important subjects, large horses, camels and riders....
