Vintage Chinese jade carved miniature of a mother and child. The mother is squatting down as the child climbs on it's mother's leg and a stone. The child throws one arm with a small sack over the mother's shoulder, the other hand is held between the mother's two hands. It measures 2.5" by 2" by .5". Republic period, circa 1950.

Republic period mottled pale green jade Chinese small sword or dagger nicely carved with a great surface sheen and patina. A chilong is carved on each side of the guard between the handle and blade. In excellent condition, it measures 16" long. Can be used a page turner and would be a terrific addition to your desk. VIDEO AVAILABLE upon request.

Republic period, 1940s or earlier, semi translucent jade brush washer, or possibly a snuff tray, in an unusual oval shape with a small carved flower button in the center. The jade has a lovely soft polished surface which is always rare to find. Color is best described as white jade with a pale celadon tint and, for presentation; we have it resting on a white jade bi from a later date. Both are included in the sale. Set of 3 19th Century Chinese Soapstone Carved Scholar Figures

The tallest one is 3 inches (7.7 cm) tall by 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) wide. The shortest one is 2.6 inches (6.5 cm) tall by 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) wide. Total weight is 0.9 Lb.

One figure is missing a head. They have small and flea bite chips, inclusions, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

The Taoist immortal Liu Hai is performing a handstand on his three-legged toad. Condition: leg of the animal and foot of Liu Hai with small loss, a crack. Dimension: 9.5 cm high.

Beautifully carved and gilt pair of QING Dynasty woodcarvings depicting Birds and Flowers from China, 19th Century, very minor wear due to age. Fine details, Size: H. 11.5" x W. 48" x D. 3.5" (29 cm. x 122 cm. x 9 cm.). Suitable as headboards! Price $ 2600 for the pair.

This is an original elaborately handcarved softwood corble of a majestic Chinese Fu-Dog or lion dog guardian. Original joints on its top and side that would have kept it into place. There is so much detail in this piece, from the tendrils of the lions' tail draping above its head. Looking above like the rays of the sun. Delicately hollowed and carved xiù qiú ball underneath its front paws. The detail continues to smaller lionlike creature riding upon its back...

This is a large and beautiful nephrite jade bi, with a centrally placed coiled dragon and a pair of phoenix on either edge. The piece is entirely hand-carved, and the carving technique is consistent with archaic practice, utilizing a diagonal grid to space the coils which cover the body of the disc. The coils themselves are carved in opposing directions from one another, consistent again with ancient technique...

A Fabulously carved Gilt Wooden QING DYNASTY CHINESE HEADBOARD with the Quanying who figures in the top center; 19th Century. Many intricately carved details as shown in photographs. Consists of only 3 pieces, excellent condition. Size: Width 192 cm x Height 102 cm. PM Messenger for details.

This is a large amulet with two holes for suspension and was most probably used as a chest piece (pectoral). The polish is so spectacularly well done that the piece feels as smooth as silk when held. The large central hole gently tapers on both sides. It measures a full 4" in length and is 2-1/2" in height. Roughly 1/8" thick. In color a varied green nephrite with a minimal residue of the polishing material remaining on the surface.

It would be hard to overstate the beauty of this ritual knife, made from an exquisite mottled green nephrite, with swirls of paler green and brown stone. Measuring some 11" in length (29cm) by 3" in height (7.5cm) and 1/8" (.3mm) in depth. The three holes are drilled conically from one side only. Please examine the photos, as they are part of the description. A truly beautiful piece; the stone is tapered to a point from both sides, although not especially sharp...

An exquisite Chinese Hetian Jade (Nephrite) White/Russet-Orange Vessel with carved Peaches. It has a small Handle, Spout for pouring and a Lid. Qing Dynasty or possibly older. Weight: 325 gr. Height 5.5 cm. x Length 10 cm. Good condition.

This is a pale celadon and russet jade plaque, dating to the Qing dynasty. The piece is entirely worked by hand, with no indication of modern/machine carving (or re-carving). It measures 2-1/2 inches in length and has been perforated lengthwise to permit it to be strung with a cord and worn. The reverse side has been carved with a series of symbols.
