Chinese antique tomb pottery figure of a portly court lady, Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), 14.25"H with traces of original red and black pigments on sleeves and crevices of body. Minor repairs to hair and neck. Oxford TL Test results consistent with 9th century dating. A lovely Chinese Tang dynasty green glaze censer burner. Unlike Snacai glazes are lead glaze, the glaze of this censer is more milky like Jun glaze, that's why I am thinking this censer is from Changsha kiln but can't 100% sure. Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse (AD 618 - 906)

This very attractive pottery model of a horse was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in a reddish-brown pigment with black and white pigments to highlight the head, mane and tail. This horse is well-modelled and stands straight, alert, looking ahead.

Height 21 cm (8.25 inches). A fine example in very good condition with minimal repair.
