Beautiful antique Korean chest made all of keyaki (elm) wood with dramatic grain, top portion has two drawers, below this are two compartments opened by hinged doors, the bottom portion has a built in bandaji trunk with a door panel that is hinged to open downward, beautiful bronze hardware with large raised butterflies (symbol of happiness), the whole chest is a single section that rests on a separate stand, circa 1900. Size: 54 1/2" high x 34 1/2" wide x 18 1/2" deep.
